The Maison Vincent de la Remondière vineyard epitomizes the elegance and dash that characterize the very finest wines of the Bourgogne and Beaujolais regions. We defy local convention in the ways we produce and market our wines. We are nonetheless deeply attached to our region.
We do not believe that great wines are the fruit of mere happenstance. They are intrinsically shaped by the extremely favourable wine-growing conditions of that iconic region, Bourgogne.
From the Côte de Nuits to the slopes of the Beaujolais, we love to seek out the very finest plots. Glorious countryside, superb terroirs, locations that are well-kept secrets, places where people come to talk about anything and everything and share their love of life and wine: Bourgogne and Beaujolais are something of a playground for us – and what a playground!
We like to see ourselves as artists who create wines like a composer creates a symphony. We leave wines room to find that perfect balance – naturally. We tease out aromas.
As well as bringing the real character of the terroir to the fore in our wines, we add that hint of daring and dash for which we are so well known. Hidden away in our cellars, our wines develop tremendous complexity. They’re also noted for being generous and well-structured, delicate, sensual and elegant. We believe that the spirit of daring that lies at the heart of everything we do on a day-to-day basis is also reflected in our wines: from how we grow our vines and produce our wines to the aesthetics of our bottle label designs.
Vincent de la Remondière is part of the Bourgogne landscape. A great lover of the local area, he never gets tired of looking out over his vines. He’s also a real fan of art and design.
Respect for tradition doesn’t rule out having a new vision for the future, far from it. Always thinking out of the box, wondering how things could be done differently, better, how we could move things forward. Exploring pastures new, keeping an open mind, especially on new ways of doing things and the latest technological advances, being on-trend – all this is part of the Vincent de la Remondière approach.
